Jamey Johnson

A couple weekends back when Simon and I were up in Minneapolis shooting Brandon and Bibi’s wedding we also hooked up with Christ Church Internantional to make some images for their new website. After shooting Sunday morning at the church we went out with Jamey Johnson, shot a bit on the street and got some tea at the tea garden. This was my first time meeting Jamey, but he was very fun to work with, and a great soul. He shared many encouraging things with Simon and I. He is the type of person that really gets you pumped up…

Thank you Jamey Johnson. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot on the street.

  1. dig all the pics.

like the color better than the b-n-w

something seems to get lost in the b-n-w

    also

the graffiti shot is pretty awesome as far as the graffiti goes. especially with the skyline and sidewalk. but the dude is pretty much lost. he basically gets swallowed up by the art. kind of hard to compete for attention with that wall piece. unless that was the point of the shot. if so, then awesome job.

btw- who the hell is ‘jamey johnson’

the dude looks like a rocker or one of those dudes with attitude who works at the record shop.

The graffiti shot was really mainly just for a feeling, I think it works well with the others, but by itself, I think you are right, he would get lost. Together with the others I think it works. The color is a main part of each photo, but I dig the black and white, too. I think I just love black and white images…

Jamey Johnson is a local man from Minneapolis. He works at Church Christ International.
