Vanessa and Drew got married yesterday… The weather was a bit on and off all day, but that never stops us. After shooting outside in the rain for a while, the rain picked up and we went in search of a coffee shop to get a couple more shots before the day was over. Turns out the coffee shop we were thinking about was closed, however, in the same parking lot there was a Sendiks Grocery Store… Simon and I thought to ourselves “Selves, wouldn’t it be fun to shoot in the grocery store?” Vanessa and Drew were down, so we were as well. We ran around the store for a while making photographs like this:

When I heard you were shooting in the grocery store I was super happy. I would have shot there too. My mind actually started coming up with all sorts of ideas, especially since you (almost) never find a bride and groom in “normal” places or doing “normal” things.
I can’t wait to see what you guys got!

Hey thanks Sam. It was a lot of fun. When life gives you lemons, make some lemonade, right? The mix of the normal with the formal attire was a ton of fun… I think I am going to try this again, even if it is nice out, if a future couple would be up for it…
