It is important to unplug. I have a very hard time doing this. One of my favorite unplugs of the year is our trip up to my in-laws cabin, up in Marinette, WI. It is easy to unplug up there… no tv, the phone doesn’t really work, so it gets turned off, no computers… just peace, light, plants, animals, a quirky little town, family, a camera and some film.

For the geeks. Voigtlander Bessa R3M with the CV Nokton 50mm 1.1 – Film is some really old Konica Minolta 400 VX

These are so lovely. It’s like I can totally “feel” how you felt up there… you capture emotions so well!

Hey Kayci,
Wow, thanks! I try and do that with every photograph I make… I am glad it comes though that way. Hopefully these images brought you some peace and rest. The hunt for that peaceful still light, is my favorite thing in the world.
Thanks again,
Jake
