I really love shooting engagement sessions for a few reasons. One, there isn’t a ton of pressure on the photographer. Two, there isn’t a ton of pressure on the couple. And three, it gives the couple a chance to see how the photographer works and gives them an opportunity to trust that the artist is going to capture them in a flattering way.
Well, Andrew and Abby needed no help from my camera or me to be flattering. They were a great looking couple that showed up and were ready to have fun. Jake and I thought that the Third Ward would be a good place to shoot, so we met them right by the Milwaukee Public Market. From there we wandered around the streets, jumping on things, going in and out of alleys, and even jumping in fountains. There were so many opportunities to make great photographs that it was hard to whittle down this post to the size that it is (and it is still big). I am excited to shoot this couples wedding because I know it is going to be fantastic and so much fun to shoot.

I absolutely love what Valo guys are able to create with their cameras. They have a perfect eye for natural yet esthetically pleasing and well-balanced shots. The colors of these images are crisp, vivid and vibrant and make you want to shout…..CONGRATULATIONS Abby and Andrew….even if I don’t know you

I love both sets of these and seeing how you each have your own unique style. Simon, my favorite of yours is the fountain and Jakes, the one in the grass looking at each other. You def. captured their happiness. Most engagement photos I see look so stuffy. These most certainly do not!
Great Work!
