Oh my. I got married. Which means I am Murried. That is pretty awesome and I don’t know if it has all set in still. All I know is that I get to hang out with a hot lady for the rest of my life and we get to do cool stuff like go to Ikea. Anyways… thanks so much for all the love on Twitter, Facebook, and in real life.
Speaking of love… My good friend Sam Dodge (One of the MANY photographers who attended our nuptials) put together a stop motion video of our wedding and reception.
He is pretty much the man. Check out his site and some more of his Stop Motion stuff.
Also, some people might have seen this, but Nicole and I went out and took some photos after we got back from Door County (Super cool modern B&B with the best owner ever). Her dress was kinda a mess from the wedding day from all of the running around and dancing, so we decided to take it out and make some more photos. We did a lil Trash the Dress shoot and got some really great stuff. Here is a lil’ sneak peek of what is to come (One of the perks to marrying a photographer).

That video was awesome. Those guys were at my table & I kept teasing them for their nonstop phone, camera, etc use. Had I known this was why… AWESOME video. PERFECT wedding. Congrats!!!!!

I know another Sam Dodge, except he’s 3 years old. I bet both of them would be good pals, though. Anyway, thanks for letting us share in your day! It went by super fast, but it was really fun while it lasted!

Simon, I’m so happy for you — she seems awesome from the video and photos and she is absolutely gorgeous. I’m glad you didn’t let her get away! It looks like it was an amazing day — I love all the beautiful natural touches like the placecards and the table numbers and the cake. Happy forever together.

You should do a trash-the-dress shoot with us! I always hoped to wear my dress again someday. Maybe for our 5 year anniversary next year, since I’m – um – with child right now and won’t be fitting into again anytime soon!
I don’t want to wait that long for you to do your photo shoot offer with us, though…hopefully this summer (August 13-15 we’ll be around!) we can meet in Madison and you can take some family shots with our newborn.
