Comet Community

Community is so important. There is something about friendship and other people who are for you that makes the world go round. I get to see this every time I shoot a wedding. There are so many people who are loving on the bride and groom and so many people who are ready to love them right then and there. I just hope that those people also love them other times when the day isnt just about them.

Nicole has been going to Comet Cafe for quite a while and once we started datiting, I started going there as well. The atmosphere is great, the food is good, and the people are amazing. They are the people who will love on you when it isn’t your wedding day, and when it is your wedding… well, then you are walking on air. I brought my camera along one night and just recorded some of the shananagins that happen there on any given Sunday.

p.s. My mug was featured on the [b]school blog again. A photo from a photobooth at the [b]school party in Vegas. The [b]school is a community of photographers helping each other. It’s all about community. And crazy photos:

My homies Rob and Angela are rockin this with me.

Comet Club Crashers

Valo is all about bringing the funk and bringing the noise. Uh… something like that.

Comet Cafe has been a regular spot for Jake and I.  It is a sweet spot with tons of interesting people.  I love seeing how people express their style and personality in different ways.  Carrying around my camera everywhere I go is the best way to get great photos. These photos I didnt even have to do anything for other than set up the camera and pass it around the table. Lots of fun and got to meet lots of cool folks.  Here is the result of the click, click, pass…
