Simon McConico | Valo Photography

Today I took some time out of my crazy schedule to chum it up with a bunch of local photographers at an event called PhotoCamp Milwaukee. It was a good time.  Next time a PhotoCamp happens you should attend if you are in the Milwaukee area and interested in photography.  Lots of learning happened and I even taught a session on using natural light for portraits. Natural light – Mr. Jake

A little inspired by Jeremy Cowart’s photos of Donald Miller.  He uses light in an amazing way and if I can even get a little close to what he gets, I am moving in the right direction. Jake has been my light monkey as of late. It is helpful to have a partner that is photogenic so that we can practice using light in different situations.
